Welcome to the next chapter of my life.

This past year has been one of incredible growth (or shrinkage if you are referring to my tush – thanks Jenny!). Since I always seem to have something I want to say, and Barbara Walters is not calling to offer me the seat next to her at the table, I have taken on this blog.

Here is a little about me:

My real name is Renee. I am a college educated woman who is blessed with a husband, kids, amazing female friends and a talent for making an awesome cheesecake. I am in my late thirties and looking forward to however long I have left to laugh on this planet. I find humor in most things in life (even when I probably should not). My mind is constantly working and I have “AHA” moments on a daily basis. I am still trying to figure out my “purpose” in life but in the meanwhile, I will try to entertain whomever I can – mostly myself! I hope you do find this blog entertaining.

Most importantly, please let me know if you happen to come across the boy I had a crush on from third grade at Coral Reef Elementary in 1977 throughout middle school at Gulliver Academy in the early 1980s – okay, okay, I admit it, I still smile when I think of him in his black leather “Danny Zukko” jacket, speed skating at Kendall Skating Rink to Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”. Hey, even though he was only 10 years old, he looked JUST LIKE John Travolta – really, twins, I tell you.

Well anyway, if you see Evan Gerstein, tell him that he really missed out on a good one!
